Izuna Tokage (
Appearance[]
Izuna is a young girl with black hair and some strands of purple on it.
She usually wears a black hoodie and a black skirt.
Personality[]
Izuna is a nonchalant kind of girl who shows little fear. She is also a bit prudish as seen when she constantly complained about Takamina touching her in a coffin even though they were hiding out of survival.
She was first introduced as this cold-hearted character who didn't care for herself and for others. She seemed devoid of life until she met Akira's gang and after spending time with them her personality changed. She was still calm but a bit more goofy. She is now kindhearted and nice and she wasn't emotionless anymore. She showed emotion more like how she screamed with Takemina when a murderer nearly killed them.
Story[]
Izzy was a student at middle school before the outbreak, she lost her father at a young age and her mother overworked herself to the point of collapse, Izzy tried to support her mother as best as she could but her mother told her not to worry. When the Pandemic started Izzy was bitten on the thigh but she didn't turn, she was on the run most of the time until she met Tsuru who saw her Zombie Bites but when she said how long ago she was bitten Tsuru took her in and acted as her guardian as her immune system may be the key to curing the Zombie virus. She later met Akira's Group and traveled with them as Tsuru wanted to get to a bigger lab, when they arrived they found a large lab but it was locked and they needed a key card, Akira and Shizuka left to try and find another way in but Izuna noticed a zombie inside the security boof with a key card around it's neck, Izzy without fear stuck her hand through the opening, Kenchou told her to watch out but Izzy told them that her immunity means that Zombies are not interested in her at all, after retrieving the Key Card they notice Akira approaching's and she noticed that he was Carrying Shizuka and she looked shocked when she saw the bite mark on Shizuka's left shoulder, the group cry for Shizuka minus Tsuru Lampard and Izzy but then Tsuru told them that they can save Shizuka. They rushed into the lab Akira lay Shizuka on the Nearest bet Beatrix tended to her by wiping down her forehead and Tsuru then asked Izzy for a sample of her Blood, Izzy happily agreed, it took 10 minute to make the vaccine and it was administered to Shizuka and it was a success.
During Shizuka's recovery Tsuru explained more to the group about the vaccine but stated that it cannot turn Zombies back to normal as they are already dead, during this a government chopper arrived and some black ops entered the lab, Izzy along with the others monitored the Black ops unit and saw them enter a level 5 of the building, she noticed them gun down some Zombie Scientists and then she heard them scream as an unknown threat arrived, Akira Kenchou Beatrix and Takamine went to investigate and found all the soldiers dead they then grabbed the weapons of the soldiers as the threat was still there, they were some form of Mutant and they were fast, Izzy watched in frustration as Akira and ko had no idea what they were doing so Izzy told Tsuru that she was going to help, Izzy arrived with a Flamethrower and set the beast on fire, she then scolded Akira and the others then took the lead, she coached the team and they were able to take out the horde of Mutants. Sadly this was not the end as there was a much larger version of the monsters Whilst Akira stated that they should retreat Izzy's face light up as she was excited over the final boss appearing, They worked together and managed to defeat the monster, this victory was short lived as the lab was entering lockdown so they had to evacuate quickly, they ran as fast as they could and they managed to jump through the gate and ended up in a dogpile outside with Izzy laying comfortably on Beatrix's chest is relief.
Later she left with Kenchou to go visit his Grandfather's grave and was there when he got a message from his mother telling him that she was okay and with some soldiers, Izzy then thought about her own mother but Kenchou patted her on the head and he told her that if his Mother was alive then so is hers, After that rip Izzy told Tsuru that she loved the group and she didn't want to leave but she also loved Tsuru as he had been like a father to her so she didn't want to leave him either, Tsuru told her that he isn't going anywhere and that she should follow her heart, Izzy gave a cheeky grin and she left with Akira's Group
Izzy enjoyed sailing on a fishing boat with the group and swimming with Dolphins, she also took part in the Will they won't they talk about Akira and Shizuka's relationship, She was happy when she saw the Pod of Dolphins save the 2 love birds and she realized that the Dolphins didn't play with them before but they are now meaning that the two lovebirds had confessed to each other and she was happy for them
Izzy would later witness a massive argument between Akira Shizuka Kenchou and Beatrix so she left the group in search of fuel along with Takamine, They ended up hitch hiking and were picked up by a group of people, Kakzuki Selina and Mercy who were also looking for fuel, Whilst in the Minivan Izzy listened to Mercy's spooky tales of the forest but wasn't intimidated.
Izzy and Takamine split from the group and went looking in the cellar and they found some coffins, Izzy was eager to open them but Takamine told her that Zombies could be in there, Izzy told him that if there were Zombies in them then they would have jumped out already so she opened one and found the corpse of Mercy which horrified her and Takamine, they ran outside to the van and found the bodies of Kazuki and Selina they then encountered the Killer and Izzy and Takamine ran for their lives sadly Izzy got caught and she fainted from sheer fear and Takamine slipped and hit his head. They awoke in a room where they met the Killer and his Grandfather who were planning to feed them to his Zombified Wife, Izzy and Takamine notice a Zombie across the table tied up, Izzy asked why didn't they end their loved ones suffering and they responded with they love her, Takamine told them that that is no longer their loved one it is a monster, this Angered the Killers and they then proceeded to drag in Mercy's body and they said that they will have to mince hup the body first as if they let Grandma bite Mercy he will reanimate into a Zombie, Takamine then Kicked the table and sent the old man Flying into his wife, this gave them time to run, sadly they came to a dead end Takamine asked Izzy to use her gamer knowledge of Horror games to escape and Izzy responded with all Horror games are guarantied to kill the player and so they cannot escape, the Killer Closed in and broke the door trying to kill them but missed, he suddenly vanished, Izzy noticed an exit, Izzy said they should flee but Takamine told her that it is a trap only one exit the Killer is behind that door, Takamine then said it is time for his kind of game.
Izzy Questioned Takamine's plan and he told her that the opened door was a trap and that the Killer was outside waiting for them, Izzy asked how could he be sure, Takamine explained that why would there be a door open it is too good to be true, They then hear the old man coming so they hide from him, the old man then left through the open door and was killed by Sugizo, Sugizo then took he rage out on Takamine and Izzy, they hid in an empty coffin but due to it being a cramped space, Izzy kept complaining about Takamine touching her by accident and started to think that he was doing it deliberately. She was then shushed by Takamine who told her that the killer will find them if she keeps talking, Sugizo then entered the Cellar and started to destroy the coffins. Izzy clung to Takamine for dear life and luckily Sugizo got bored and left, after Izzy and Takamine left the coffin Sugizo showed up again saying he faked them out, they run again but get cornered. Izzy tried to distract him with a strange dance but it angered Sugizo as he thought they were trying to distract him. In an abnormal turn of events, Takamine 'betrays' Izzy by telling Sugizo to smash her head in to save himself. She is furious by this and says she will haunt him after her death but it was all to trick Sugizo who unknowingly knocked the ceiling down with the swing of his own hammer so that the rubble collapses on him so that Takamine and Izzy can escape. Izzy later apologizes and thanks Takamine for saving her, then they find fuel and food and return back to the RV.
Back at the RV the rest of the crew mention if they had experienced a 'Scare Dare' to which Takamine and Izzy both did not even want to hear the mention of those words. Izzy also tells Akira and the group about their haunted house adventure and that Takamine was her hero, Akira stated that he wants to go but was talked out of it by Shizuka and the group.

Immunity[]
Izuna is immune to zombification; even if she is bitten, her immune system will destroy the virus, thus she will never become a Zombie. Her immunity also seems to make some zombies uninterested in biting and eating her flesh, too.
Combat Skills[]
Izuna is skilled with Guns and even Flamethrowers due to her love of RPG games
Leadership Skills[]
Izzy is a natural leader she was able to take charge when fighting the mutant monsters when Akira and his group Minus Shizuka were Struggling
Tactical Skills[]
Izzy is a natural Tactician, with her instructions Akira Kenchou Beatrix and Takamine were able to easily beat the Mutants
Relationships[]
Akira Tendou[]
Izuna and Akira are good friends as they both enjoy adventure, however, like Shizuka, she is more than happy to call him out on things like his inability to read a situation or assess the risks.
Shizuka Mikazuki[]
Izuna and Shizuka get along well, she showed sadness and concern when Shizuka was bitten but was relieved when her blood saved her.
Kenichirou Ryuuzaki[]
Out of the whole group Kenchou is the one that she is closest to outside of Tsuru, she sees him as a Big Brother figure and Kenchou calls her Izzy as a nickname which she is okay with, She travelled with him to his Grandfathers grave and helped him pay his respects.
Beatrix Amerhauser[]
Beatrix and Izuna are on good terms and Beatrix tries to support her, Beatrix has shown care for her as shown when after they jumped throught he closing gate Beatrix held her close to her in order to take the brunt of the landing.
Yuudai Tsurumi[]
Izuna looks up to Tsuru as a father figure as he has been protecting her ever since he found her.
Izuna's Mother[]
Izuna loves her mother greatly and she tried her best to support her after her father died, Izzy is worried about her mother as she is frail and they are in a Zombie Apocalypse
Takeru Minakata[]
The two had minimal interactions but what we saw is that Minakata and Tokage have a siblingly relationship.
Etymology[]
- The name Izuna means "fountain, spring" (泉) (izu) and "apple tree" (奈) (na).
- Izuna's surname Tokage means "door" (戸) (to), "add, increase" (加) (ka) and "under, below" (下) (ge).
- The kanji "下" can also be written/read as Shita () .
